God, Fourth Wing is so dumb! And like, I could at least understand where the "I seem frail but I'm actually the coolest toughest specialest girl, with my Smarts and my Cunning and my Pain Tolerance, and I befriended that one weird Problem Horse at the stable who everyone said would never trust another rider again, and then I also got a second bonus horse who's small and cute. (The horses are dragons)" power fantasy was coming from so that aspect was kind of endearing in its badness (to me). But boy there's a lot of other badness that doesn't even have that charm going for it. Also, the fact the author is not literally a 13-year-old on Fictionpress
