The whole blog is great! And I haven't even gotten thru all the blog archives, because there's *so much* and sometimes it points me towards a book I'm curious enough to read.
I don't know much about the Princesse de Polignac, except that she was one of Ethel Smyth's love interests, but she does keep popping up! I just recently listened to a newly released CD of piano pieces by her niece Armande de Polignac, who was also a student of Faure! So please report back on the book, I'm very curious!
