Oh, wow, I didn't realise OC Remix was still online! I used to have so many Final Fantasy and Silent Hill remixes on my iPod. (And Chrono Cross/Chrono Trigger remixes, even though I'd never actually played the games.)
Speaking of classic Internet drama, I've never forgotten this description on a Silent Hill remix from 2002. I love how casually it goes, 'The remixer called us racist; as it happens, we're not. Anyway, this is beautiful, well worth a listen.'
