I just graduated from a chemical engineering program and we got (playfully!) dunked on now and again by bioengs for Holmes being one of us, lol. We talked a significant amount about engineering ethics while in classes, but honestly the fact that people even try and do these scams blows my mind a little. I mean... EVENTUALLY it will come out, right? And for Holmes it did!
