Also, why did Chloe get a pass for reading people's minds and then telling their secrets to third parties? That's only slightly less bad than mind-control!
right??? and it honestly would've added some really cool/interesting texture to her character to explore that kind of thing... i don't think it would make sense to make her a villain, but "basically good person gets some WAY NOT OKAY ideas about confidentiality/trust b/c her good intentions + rush-of-discovering-her-new-abilities run way far ahead of propriety and good sense" would be really cool. like sometimes she gets to be a little bit mean/nasty and i was always like "oh, woah, now we're about to make her interesting" and it never quite paid off lol.
