Lost in Lualand

(YEAH THAT BIT WAS WEIRD. like, i assume the writers were like "we want to introduce the fact that Mark is bi," "but he's not here right now so how can we make another character mention it," "oh sure Sam can just mention it however," but like???? what???? SO unnatural and weird, just not AT ALL how someone would be thinking/talking if their loved one were in danger... and Mark came back to town not-even-that-many-episodes-later, which would've provided ample opportunity to introduce that aspect of his character in a not-jarring way, so like, what, lol)
