yep. the Israeli version looked interesting, but the US version was right there on HBO Max with zero extra effort on my part, so... :P
skimming some episode summaries and, wow, i didn't realize the US version hewed so closely to characters/plotlines from the original. might end up watching a few just to compare how those are handled differently...
