One of my favorite things about our honeymoon in Napa Valley was the wine tasting tour we went on that included like a one-hour class on "how wine tasting and descriptions work" and "why wines pair certain ways" and it was SO FUCKING FASCINATING, I have continued to use that knowledge but for me I'm like, a trashpile who's like "is it sweet? good. I want that." So it's partly wasted on me, lol.
