It was SUCH a good 400-page breakdown omg. (and would ABSOLUTELY read some f!kennedys, now that you mention it... a tragic shortage...!)

The sister stuff, I think I liked more than I didn't, but I sorta wish we'd been able to see a little bit more/different sides of her? I liked her for what she showed us about Kennedy as a person, for sure, and I thought her-in-the-middle-of-an-episode was pretty well-depicted, but with that being the only state we see her in + that final bit where it's like "here's a kind of contrived way she ends up sabotaging Kennedy's faith in his partner," she wound up feeling a touch on the... instrumental side? not like, full "cliche crazy plot-device lady" tier, French definitely handles her character with more care than that, but unable to entirely twist itself away from the implications of a plot that kind of wants to put her in that role? which, i'm not entirely sure how i'd fix that, if i were french, there really isn't much room in the span of time the book covers, but... yeah! idk if this ramble makes any sense, haha, sometimes books are hard :P

Also, I'm halfway through The Likeness and I am LOVING it! Will look forward to posting about it here when the time comes :D
