(I am the kind of person who reads all the SCOTUS opinion drops and not necessarily the full opinions because I'm not actually a lawyer I just let my lawyer friends do that bit but I have so many Opinions about which justice landed where, and in that respect the last week has been so fucking fascinating watching some of the Trump-appointed justices side with specific liberals. IT IS FUCKING WILD, SCOTUS fandom is a time and a half.)
Extolling the Tenth Amendment's purported ability to allow states to tell the feds to get fucked makes perfect sense if your guiding premise is "government should be small enough to drown in a bathtub." Like. Yes, it runs into reality facefirst and screaming, but--so does everything else these chucklefucks come up with.
