true story: i actually saw the books on a friend's bookshelf when i was visiting her, and i was like "oh, i've heard those are good! supposedly there's like politicking and stuff?"
she says: "so, fair warning, they are very problematic"
and i'm like "sure whatever it's literally impossible to phase me"
so she says "ok, you're free to borrow them if you want, because like, they ARE very fun so long as you're cool with that"
that's all the warning i had!!! i text her halfway in and i'm like "oh i didn't know this was porn, that's not what i think of when i think 'problematic' lol" and she's just like "...what did you THINK it was?!?!" and we had a good laugh :P
