I really felt like P3 and P4 had much more intra-party dynamics going on; P4 started the "too much rehashing" thing (disclaimer: I love all three of them but 3 is my fave.) I agree with a lot of your quibbles here and I do actually have an original universe that's somewhere between Inception and P5 because fucking reasons, man, it's fascinating. IMPORTANT SHIT HERE.
I will say 5 is the most fun to play, apart from the endless rehashing.
