The LeGuin thing is hilarious to me because the librarian who runs my SF/F book club was relating to us the tale of a gentleman who came in looking for Song of Ice and Fire and complained to her that it wasn't on the shelf. She checked, the system said it was in, so she was like, we'll go see, and led him to the SF section.
Whereupon said dude threw a tantrum that this piece of literature was shelved with this trash and on and on and on
And she was just like....uhhhhhh....dude....
So I guess my point is sometimes the fight isn't completely won. XD
