The one business book I've read that I found really compelling was Good to Great, which basically attempted to empirically answer the question: what sets a company up for true, lasting success? It's actually really good, because it's not trying to buzzword you to death.

I once tried to read War and Peace and I really liked it, but got distracted halfway through and wandered off; I keep meaning to go back to it. The translation I had was really good, even! Maybe I'll read it on family vacation this summer, lmao.
