yeah. iirc i think he wound up getting off "easy" in the sense of, had a relatively short time in lockup and mostly has to do a bunch of community service or w/e, and while he couldn't go back to our school i'm sure some school would take him...
...but that's definitely on the list of "things i would never want to have to explain in a job interview", heh
