i last read sfeer theory like 800 years ago, but at the time i'm not even sure there was a full chapter done yet. i'll have to reread + catch up and will report back when i do~~
re: european comics: interesting; i don't think i actually know anything about "european comic" style. any recs there?
i had a vague suspicion about something eye-path-y composition-y being relevant here, but i just don't know what the actual techniques/etc being used are. alas!
