makes sense. i mean, statistically, i think some huge majority of americans believe in some notion of God, but there's a difference between the general religious apathy i've seen in big cities vs the thing in smaller towns where going to church regularly was just kind of this social thing that everyone did and you assumed everyone else did, which is interesting.
