Ah, yeah. I think that was by design on the part of the quizmaker—the author of Coming Apart explicitly says he's focusing on poor white America vs rich white America, as part of his assertion that class increasingly trumps race in terms of status or whatever. Obviously that argument has problems in and of itself, and to properly make it you would have to actually include some discussion of how race and class interact, but yeah, explains why the quiz probably isn't broadly applicable.
also: re edit 2: i doinked around with the results some and those restaurants are weighed disproportionately heavily. my waffle house obsession alone scooted me significantly down/up (i forget which direction was which), which is probably not really a good thing to weight :P
