Heh. Admittedly I know very little about the larger world of GoT fandom and what general sentiment there is; a lot of my perception is based off a couple IRL bros of mine who are into the show/books/etc. And I love them dearly, and they are my bros, but yeah, I'm just not interested in the aspects they find appealing.

I have heard that the books are better than the show! Which is a shame if it's true, since like, I'm ehhh enough on the show that I don't feel particularly motivated to read the books, and perhaps I'm missing out on something cool, and I'll never know. Alas alas.
