see this is probably why when i write fe7 fic about everyone facing off against the dragon.............i don't let hector/lyn/eliwood fight alone that's just ridiculous it doesn't even make any fucking sense you can't tell me that all 40+ people just stand there and watch that shit happen no way

i hate that trope it doesn't make sense. unless the other person is like literally a noncombatant or whatever maybe unable to fight at all. still they could be a good distraction right??????
