Something I found interesting, once I started poking around online to find people talking about the Vlad Talots novels, is that everyone seems to have different fave vs least fave book? Like I'm sure if you aggregated them all up there's a "least popular" one, but I found several people who really loved Yendi (in addition to some who thought it was weak), so like, I look forward to being surprised which ones "hit the spot" for me vs which ones don't...! (Suggests to me that maybe it's a matter of the author trying out different stuff each time versus there being some OBVIOUSLY bad book in the series or whatnot.)

and ooooh i do... want more Miryem stuff... between you & landofnowhere yeah i'll probably give the novelette a peek at some point ;)
