yeah, Robinson's prose is very much Like That, across both books; it's kind of incredible. (honestly, there's a lot in her style i would like to emulate... not a lot happens in her books, but Enough happens, and the interpersonal tensions/textures are so rich they carry interest and propulsion all their own. which is mostly what i'm aiming to accomplish too, lol. like, i was reading all the gardening scenes in the book like "aw dang i would've liked to steal this vibe for Man of Letters" lolll)
