Mattimeo had Queen Warbeak Sparra's death in glorious battle & she was my fave, naturally, because hotheaded bird :p lots of bird battles in that one in general. (Outcast of Redwall was the other one I considered, though I reread it lately and discovered I was SO MAD at the ending that I deadass MADE UP A NEW ONE and FORGOT THE REAL ENDING??? I was so thrilled as a kid to have a ferret as a good guy and... yeah that didn't pan out lol.) You should check out uskglass's list tho; it has Pearls of Lutra :)
