That observation about the reference to his parents is new to me, and very sweet/interesting.

My first instinct with Stefan was that there's some blue in there, because that measured/calm/practiced facade combined with the seriousness with which he takes his sword-skill seems very blue (cunning, intellect, patience, all that), so I was leaning toward making him green/blue, but yours makes a lot of sense as well (also I'm probably just biased because I'm green/blue myself :P).
